individual circuits spanning over 2000 locations.
· Responsible for maintaining high availability telecommunication services (voice, data, IP) between FAA
facilities supporting the National Airspace System (NAS).
· Detects, analyzes, and resolves network switching and transmission system problems while minimizing
impact on customer service. Triages events based on air traffic impact and severity to determine

mission, upon my recommendation, two members were promoted to the grade of Technical Sergeant, one

· Positioned as day-shift Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge (NCOIC) charged with problem logging,
issue resolution and event tracking to ensure proper escalation to Tier- 3/Tier-4 staff.
· Tier 2 Network Administrator tasked to maintain the Cisco infrastructure supporting unclassified,
classified, secret, top secret, and SOIS networks. Insured 100% up-time during combat operations
and mission critical hours.
· Performed help desk duties that included account configuration, verification and troubleshooting of
account issues on a user populace of 300+ rotating individuals.
· Worked in conjunction with government agencies to as a SOCC technician with responsibilities
that included account management on SOIS networks (Top Secret), utilizing security
information and event management (SIEM) software to comb hard drives and mobile devices for
raw intelligence gathering & data recovery on captured mobile devices, and forensic analysis on
internal user devices suspected of leaking classified data.
· As equipment subject matter expert I analyzed and resolved complex technical issues to include
ensuring proper configuration and maintenance of all mission critical hardware to include cisco routers,
switches, VOIP gateways, encryption modules and satellite systems.
· Spearheaded an effort to completely rewire the flight line compound, eliminating unnecessary splices,
bad cables and ensuring all cables were properly labeled. This cut troubleshooting times in half and
reduced mission critical outages by 75%.

· Performed functional tests on mission essential spares heading into theatre both on the component
and system level. Additional worked with Tier 3 engineers on the experimentation of promising
systems, trials of innovative operating schemes, assessments of notional concepts, and the
operational validation of emerging systems.
· Provided a highly stable satellite link between U.A.E. and the White House for a Video
Teleconference (VTC) between General Petraeus and President Bush. Coordinated between the
Satellite controllers at MacDill AFB and the White House communications team to provide 100% link
reliability.
· Personally responsible for over 350,000 dollars’ worth of equipment, to include updating and
maintaining SOPs for all pieces of equipment to include wiring references, and equipment
configurations.
· Awarded the Army Achievement Medal & Joint Services Commendation Medal for providing
100% reliability during mission critical hours for a JSOC Task Force.
